Endurance Announces Upgrade of Enterprise Risk Management Rating to Excellent

Standard and Poor’s has upgraded its Enterprise Risk Management rating for Endurance Specialty Holdings Ltd. from Strong to Excellent. Endurance is one of only three property and casualty insurers in Bermuda to achieve this rating. Standard & Poor’s also affirmed Endurance’s group financial strength rating of A (Strong) and all related financial and credit ratings and outlooks. The rationale on which Standard and Poor’s based this decision is detailed in a report released July 29, 2008.
